About the position

Chevo is seeking an experienced Program Analyst specializing in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics to enhance data-driven decision-making for clients. The role involves providing business intelligence support, developing analytical dashboards, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve national security. The position is hybrid, requiring on-site presence in the Metro DC area with some telework options.

Responsibilities

  • Examine business requirements and needs, collecting information, and identifying alternative methods and solutions.
  • Support strategic planning, training development, quality management, and business process reengineering.
  • Design and develop a standardized data management framework across the Software Applications and Services (SAS) team.
  • Deliver analytics using CBP tools to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Define best practices and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program and system performance.
  • Design and develop performance trend models, predictive analytics, and reports to mitigate potential risks.
  • Develop interactive metrics dashboards tailored to different management levels.
  • Create performance data collection tools to streamline and automate reporting.
  • Document complex business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Interface with senior business decision-makers to understand and analyze their requirements.
  • Develop and review program and project documentation and client briefings.
  • Prepare highly technical documents, briefing materials, and management directives.
  • Develop program presentations and training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience for Senior level or 6 years for Journeyman level.
  • Ten years of experience developing workflows, applications, and dashboards.
  • Ability to build dashboards to visualize complex data.
  • Ability to pass client clearance requirements, with CBP Clearance desired.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and JIRA is beneficial but not required.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and performance management metrics is useful but not required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with relational databases for developing online analytical dashboards.
  • Familiarity with business process improvement and developing process flows.
