The Program Analyst - Clinic Profile Manager position at the Department of Veterans Affairs involves providing complex support related to provider profile management. Responsibilities
- Coordinate clinical/provider profiles and scheduling grids.
- Manage clinic setup and maintenance processes.
- Interpret national policies and develop local standards for clinic/provider profile management.
- Monitor and conduct annual reviews of clinic profiles for accuracy and compliance.
- Train and develop staff on profile management and related duties.
- Participate in facility and VISN projects to improve clinic profile management.
- Prepare reports and analyze data related to clinic profiles and performance.
Requirements
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07 in the Federal service, including experience with data management and medical billing programs.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and regulations related to clinic profiles and scheduling.
- Ability to analyze processes and develop training programs for staff.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with advanced clinic access principles and outpatient scheduling directives.
- Familiarity with Managerial Cost Accounting (MCA) and workload capture rules.
