About the position

The Program Analyst (Data Management) position at the Department of the Army involves serving as a key analyst within the Headquarters Department of Army (HQDA), specifically in the G-3/5/7, Director of Strategic Operations Division. The role focuses on data management for the Department of the Army's Training and Readiness Domain, ensuring the effective protection, analysis, and utilization of data in alignment with Department of Defense objectives. The incumbent will develop policies, provide expert consultation, and coordinate data strategy implementation across various organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Establish, plan, and direct data management, protection, and analysis across DA G-3 in furtherance of DoD's RDIM objectives.
• Identify and share analytics talent education opportunities and utilize analytics talent across the T&R Domain.
• Serve as an expert consultant regarding the application of scientific and statistical standards to data evaluation and analysis.
• Develop enterprise-wide policy and guidance for data aggregation and integration into operations.
• Monitor suspense dates and maintain contact with other organizations to provide guidance.
• Provide instructions and assistance to high-level customers, including briefings and resolving data anomalies.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience advising senior leaders on data management within an organization.
• Experience implementing data protection procedures and developing policies impacting data management.
• Ability to provide solutions to data management applications and systems issues.
