About the position

Noblis MSD is hiring a Program Analyst to support Life Cycle Management and Digital Engineering in support of the Guided Missile Frigate (FFG) Program Office. The Program Analyst will evaluate and develop acquisition and life cycle engineering documentation and plans, including digital representations of the ships; and provide subject matter expertise on training and crewing for small combatant ships. This position will have the opportunity for a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and oversight to collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government.
  • Provide logistics support for outfitting and execution: Develop, update, track, and maintain status of logistics.
  • Provide support for the continued development and maintenance of the program Digital Engineering and Product Lifecycle Management environment, including virtual reality programs such as Unreal Engine and the digital twin.
  • Provide continuous onsite support at the shipyard for outfitting, configuration, and fleet introduction support, including validation of all waterfront installations, variance (waivers/deviations), and modifications.
  • Provide draft feedback, findings and recommendations to the PMS 515 team.
  • Identify, collect, categorize, and submit new construction metric data relating to the approved configuration baseline for trend analysis and issue resolution.
  • Support development and implementation Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) and Product Support Business Case Analyses (BCAs).
  • Perform FFG-62 Class Schedule Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) at the Shipbuilder's facilities.
  • Build and maintain a database for the PCA configuration information and audit results.

Requirements

  • Bachelors and 3 years experience or relevant professional experience
  • DoD Secret or the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Background in DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process)
  • Experience in surface combatant ships
