About the position

Amentum is now hiring for a Program Analyst (Intermediate) position in support of Program Director Sensor - Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide U.S. Army, U.S. Army Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment PD SAI core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of PD SAI and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within PD SAI.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, evaluation, review, and prioritization of technical and financial resources associated with assigned programs.
  • Support program, planning, evaluation and financial management functions to include the cost analysis and other cost and contractor performance measurement functions for assigned programs.
  • Perform extensive coordination with the Program Manager, PEO/ PEO Staff, DA staff, other services and industry personnel during all phases of the life cycle of assigned projects; apply independent expert knowledge of program planning and evaluation, Army missions, goals and objectives; independently selects methods, plans and coordinates the details, and carries work through to its conclusion with minimal guidance.
  • Completed work is reviewed for soundness of analysis, the suitability of methods used, and for conformance with organizational analytical procedures and practices. Prepare, coordinate and/or review the preparation of portions of written plans, schedules and milestones for accomplishing goals.
  • Organize, schedule and assist in administering supporting functions of appropriate meeting for discussion of issues.
  • Prepare Department of Defense programmatic reporting requirements, acquisition documentation, milestone decision documentation, and spend plan management.
  • Compile information for preparation of grants, contracts and agreements.
  • Assess the development of program or project activities.
  • Respond to program or project related complaints and requests for information.
  • Classify program, project or system enhancements. Install new and revised programs and systems.
  • Perform research and analysis in the development of program or project activities.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of goals and objectives.
  • Interpret and apply policies and procedures.
  • Perform research and prepares studies as required.
  • Must have knowledge to be able to gather the appropriate data that will be used to plan, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operating programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business discipline and at least 4 years of experience.
  • 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
