About the position

The Program Analyst (PSO) position within the Department of Defense is responsible for supporting program management activities across the ICAM/SoD FPMO. The role involves interpreting complex policies, serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative, and overseeing the development and monitoring of performance-based requirements to ensure program effectiveness and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Supports all program management activities across the ICAM/SoD FPMO to ensure proper communications and accountability.
• Interprets complex policies and applies them to specific program objectives to meet cost, schedule, and performance.
• Serves as Contracting Officer's Representative for all program contracts.
• Provides solution analysis through management of various milestone reviews, phases, and associated products.
• Oversees the development, assessment, and monitoring of performance-based requirements.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness.
• Ability to facilitate knowledge and promote implementation of efficiency and risk reduction for the program office.
• Ability to review and approve contract task orders and invoices for cost reasonableness and completeness.
• Provides surveillance, technical direction, and administrative oversight of contracts.
