About the position

The finance professional will manage finance procurement operations for acquired gaming companies and other gaming deals at Netflix. This role focuses on enhancing the global finance procure-to-pay (P2P) process, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, project management experience, and the ability to foster cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide P2P finance guidance and support to gaming business stakeholders, including reviewing contracts, creating POs, and managing vendor expenses.
• Partner with gaming Accounting teams to facilitate timely and accurate month-end close by managing the PO accrual process for global gaming expenses.
• Liaise with IT on finance system issues and advise on optimal P2P workflows.
• Drive system automation and innovation across gaming finance workflows while maintaining a risk and fraud prevention mindset.
• Develop and leverage data analytics to drive decision-making and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Prepare decks, presentations, and memos to communicate the impact and status of finance gaming initiatives and strategies.
• Execute initiatives independently while keeping leadership and key stakeholders aligned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant Operational Finance and/or Accounting experience.
• Experience in P2P workflows, systems, and finance operations.
• Strong organization, project, and time management skills.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
• Ability to cultivate strong cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively.
• Enthusiasm for improving and enhancing systems and workflows.
• Curiosity and passion for challenging the status quo and improving processes.
• Experience with Workday Financials, Airtable, Smartsheets, and/or Tableau is a plus.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with M&A integrations is a plus.
• Experience in gaming is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
