Leidos is seeking a full-time Program Analyst to support the Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) Office of Defense Programs (NA-10). This position is critical in assisting NNSA with the communication of technical and programmatic information to stakeholders, particularly in the writing and coordination of the annual Stockpile Stewardship and Management Plan (SSMP). The role is based in the NNSA offices located at the DOE Forrestal Building in Washington, D.C., and requires an active DOE Q or DOD Top Secret clearance to apply. The work environment allows for some telework based on customer business needs, but the position is primarily onsite. The Program Analyst will be responsible for collecting technical information from various groups, including program managers, M&O partners, and field office personnel, to draft and develop briefings, position papers, and memorandums for NA-10 federal managers. Coordination with the NA-10 Deputy Administrator Action Group is essential to capture subject talking points, themes, and messaging to ensure consistency with the annual SSMP. The analyst will work with a program team to develop and produce the DOE/NNSA annual SSMP, assist in creating dynamic schedules and detailed briefings, and serve as a liaison between NA-183, programs, production teams, and the chief editor. In addition, the Program Analyst will review and evaluate relevant nuclear weapons program submissions, providing programmatic, technical, and logistical support for both classified and unclassified meetings. This includes developing meeting agendas, schedules, writing guidance, chapter templates, assignment lists, and meeting documentation. The role emphasizes the preparation, creation, and publication of NNSA's reports and annexes to meet Congressional requirements, ensuring compliance with the DOE Strategic Plan, Nuclear Posture Review, and other key policy references. The analyst will also edit a wide range of documents for internal and external use, analyze audience needs for each document, and participate in various meetings with federal leadership and team members.
