About the position

The Program Analyst position within the Department of Agriculture's Investigations Liaison and Special Operations Division (ILSOD) is responsible for overseeing and implementing policies related to investigations into violations of criminal laws and USDA regulations. The role involves planning, developing, and delivering briefings and presentations, as well as conducting program analyses to enhance operational effectiveness. The analyst will provide expert technical assistance and support to management, ensuring that investigative programs align with the strategic goals of the Office of Inspector General (OIG).

Responsibilities

• Oversee, administer, and implement policies for ILSOD.
• Plan, develop, and deliver briefings and presentations for management.
• Administer business and logistical operations functions, including training and budget management.
• Conduct program analyses to develop and assess administrative control systems.
• Provide expert technical assistance to improve investigative support and logistics.
• Evaluate methods and procedures to streamline operations within the division.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07 for GS-09 level.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-09 for GS-11 level.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11 for GS-12 level.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 for GS-13 level.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in federal or public service investigations.
