Responsibilities

  • Serve as an expert advisor on quality assurance for public housing programs.
  • Analyze data from various systems to assess compliance and performance of housing agencies.
  • Perform complex onsite and remote reviews of performance, leasing, financial, and market data.
  • Identify programmatic errors and management weaknesses through analytical reviews.
  • Utilize computer applications to gather and analyze data and project future trends.
  • Recommend solutions to complex operational problems and oversee implementation of changes.
  • Provide expert technical assistance to Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) and HUD staff.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
  • One year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level in the Federal service.
  • Experience in performing on-site and remote monitoring reviews of financial or program policies.
  • Proficiency in utilizing computer applications for data analysis and trend projection.
  • Ability to recommend improvements to work operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in public or private sector housing programs.
  • Familiarity with HUD regulations and policies.
