About the position

The Program Analyst position within the Department of Defense involves working collaboratively to develop, design, and implement logistics-related initiatives and projects. Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and implement logistics-related initiatives and projects.
• Assist in the creation of statistical data using databases and manipulating data files.
• Collaborate on initiatives to achieve desired goals and accomplishments.
• Guide and assist team members towards the accomplishment of objectives.
• Meet and communicate with officials regarding project implementation and recommendations.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service or related experience in the private sector.
• Ability to access, understand, and operate required computer systems for research and data entry.
• Experience in performing research and providing recommendations regarding workload.
• Participation in group projects, assisting in planning and development of tasks and objectives.
• Effective communication skills with internal and external customers.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in a related field.
• Experience in project management and operations research tools.
