About the position

The Program and Data Analyst at Nakupuna Companies plays a crucial role in supporting the Acquisition Policy and Oversight office by conducting data analysis, managing programs, and developing communication materials. This position is essential for advancing the office's mission through effective policy development, oversight, and research related to acquisition initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management support and perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Develop briefings and papers for all levels of DoS leadership.
  • Conduct research in support of acquisition policy and processes, including supply chain initiatives.
  • Collect, document, and analyze internal federal government acquisition initiatives.
  • Analyze and assess DoS acquisition policies against current performance metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Communicate and develop charts, written reports, and presentation materials.
  • Research subject matter and prepare point papers/remarks for senior DoS officials.
  • Develop correspondences including letters, memoranda, briefings, and reports.
  • Serve as a liaison between various intra-departmental offices to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Prioritize and coordinate workflow and communications to meet deadlines.
  • Create and maintain guidelines to facilitate efficient processes and accurate work products.
  • Coordinate with intra-departmental offices in support of risk management policy objectives.
  • Maintain project records, schedules, and files.
  • Record daily, weekly, and monthly activities/metrics.
  • Proficiently use Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, especially for managing multiple spreadsheets.
  • Utilize unclassified, open source, and acquisition databases.
  • Contribute to reports and briefings addressing program trends and significant accomplishments.
  • Implement new methods using quantitative and qualitative analysis to improve services.
  • Effectively communicate with higher government supervisors and collaborate with employees.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of relevant Project Management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Secret clearance is required.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
