Responsibilities

  • Assists in directing the strategic planning, development, and implementation of programs.
  • Represents the organization at meetings, conferences, and other events.
  • Develops and presents speeches or presentations to enhance awareness of programs.
  • Provides technical support by evaluating established processes and conducting training.
  • Monitors progress toward achieving established objectives and deadlines.
  • Participates in planning, administering, and monitoring program-related budgets.
  • Conducts research, designs new initiatives, and collaborates with others to ensure program viability.
  • May serve on, hold office in, or chair committees.
  • Writes publishable articles and papers as needed.
  • Supervises staff and oversees operational and statistical reports for management.
  • Ensures required records and documentation are maintained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program(s).
  • Five years of program-related experience or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • Supervising experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience managing and executing concurrent tasks.
  • Knowledge of university environment and systems preferred.
