About the position

Creating Opportunities is seeking a detail-oriented Program Associate for their Employer Resource Connection program, which empowers individuals with developmental disabilities and their families by providing support and resources. The role involves recruiting, interviewing, and managing Support Workers while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and the potential for full-time work, focusing on fostering inclusion and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for eligible participants and their representatives.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and manage Support Workers for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Facilitate preference profiles for program participants.
• Provide ongoing support and communication with participants and their representatives.
• Deliver regular technical assistance and activities as required by the Oregon Home Care Commission.

Requirements

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health diagnoses.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Valid Oregon Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health diagnoses.
