The Program Budget Analyst III position is a critical role within the Judiciary's Policy and Planning Department, specifically in the Budget & CIP Division. This position is responsible for assisting in the procedural and technical aspects of the Judiciary's planning-programming-budgeting system. This includes reviewing and analyzing program plans and budget requirements, preparing recommendations regarding program goals and policies, and developing fiscal policies. The role also encompasses program budgeting, where the analyst will allocate funds to meet objectives, appraise program activities, and analyze resource levels to ensure alignment with program goals. Candidates for this position must have specialized experience in at least two of the key areas: program analysis and evaluation, program planning, and program budgeting. This experience must be complemented by a strong educational background, with the possibility of substituting advanced degrees for specific experience requirements.
