About the position

SAIC is seeking a motivated and dedicated Program Control Analyst within the Army Business Group. This role involves project planning and control, variance analysis, and financial planning, specifically within the context of Federal procurement. The analyst will work closely with program managers and various internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective operational management and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with program managers, finance, accounting, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement organizations to address operational issues.
  • Prepare financial deliverables and internal/external reports including Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasts, monthly latest revised estimates (LREs), and Estimates-At-Complete (EACs).
  • Participate in the development of budgets (spend plans) for assigned programs and perform financial analysis on funding profiles and program financial variances.
  • Conduct cost, schedule, and contract performance variance analysis.
  • Submit and maintain purchase requisitions for subcontractors, consultants, and materials; monitor subcontractor costs and review/approve invoices.
  • Review, track, and approve customer invoice back-up documentation.
  • Review and support Request for Proposals (RFPs), prepare pricing models and cost analysis.
  • Multi-task and support programs with efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution.
  • Three or more years of relevant experience in Federal government contracting.
  • Experience in financial tracking and support for government customers in Program Control, Finance, Cost Estimating, Financial Analysis, or Accounting.
  • Knowledge of government contracting regulations and principles, and accounting and finance principles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to perform effectively within deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • US Citizenship required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong knowledge of Costpoint and Cognos.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
