About the position

AECOM is seeking a Program Controls Senior Manager for a critical leadership role within our organization. This position is of utmost importance to our operational success. The Program Controls Scheduling Manager will be entrusted with the following critical responsibilities: Oversee and execute scheduling-related activities for medium to large-scale programs with meticulous attention to detail. Spearhead scheduling efforts across multiple projects within the program, ensuring strict alignment with overall program objectives and seamlessly integrating project schedules into a comprehensive program schedule. Conduct thorough analysis to identify and address interdependencies between projects, proactively mitigating risks and resolving conflicts to maintain program integrity. Engage in strategic collaboration with project managers to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization, critical to program success. Maintain close working relationships with senior leadership to define and refine program-level objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Provide authoritative scheduling guidance and rigorous oversight to project controls teams, ensuring effective management of individual project elements and overall program cohesion. Implement and continuously monitor risk mitigation strategies, conducting regular evaluations to ensure their effectiveness and adjust as necessary. Facilitate clear, concise, and timely communication between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring all parties are fully informed of critical program developments. Deliver comprehensive and analytical updates to senior leadership on program progress, challenges, and achievements, providing strategic insights for decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

• Experience with schedule management on transportation programs.
