About the position

The Program Coordinator for Business Operations at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill plays a vital role in supporting the Dean's Office by managing the School of Medicine's parking allocation and collaborating with various departments to address parking needs. This position involves training new parking coordinators, communicating policy updates, and providing data reporting on parking usage. Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall allocation of School of Medicine parking spaces according to established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with departmental parking coordinators and the University parking office to meet parking needs and resolve issues.
  • Train new departmental parking coordinators on policies and procedures.
  • Regularly update departments on changes in transit policies and issues from the University parking office.
  • Update the School of Medicine employee parking website as needed.
  • Submit all School of Medicine requests to the University accurately, referencing information from various platforms.
  • Provide regular reporting on parking usage and trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Sound business judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels of the School and University.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and strong organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision in all tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks with ease.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Suite.
