About the position

The Data Governance Program Coordinator will act as an administrative resource, supporting the development and implementation of the Data Governance program. This role serves as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the Data Governance program administration, maintenance, and user support for data governance tools and systems.
  • Support the creation, maintenance, and accessibility of data governance policies, procedures, and related program documentation.
  • Monitor program progress, update timelines, and track deliverables.
  • Support in providing reports for business and technical functional areas.
  • Partner with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Technical delivery teams to develop, test, and deliver high-quality products and features.
  • Develop and maintain critical business relationships throughout the organization, ensuring senior leaders are consistently informed about priorities, capabilities, timelines, and issues.
  • Organize and schedule training sessions and workshops, prepare training materials, and track participant attendance.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvement of the Governance dashboard and reporting tools.
  • Provide support for the DG programs communication channel and documentation library.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.
  • Five years of relevant experience in data analysis, data management, and project coordination.
  • A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with basic reporting software such as PowerBI and Tableau.
