About the position

The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the support and services provided to individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities through the NOW/COMP waiver programs. This role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to ensure that individuals receive the necessary assistance and care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the support and services for individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities.
• Ensure compliance with NOW/COMP waiver program requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of services provided.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and service providers.
• Prepare correspondence and reports as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Associate's degree in a related health field preferred.
• Behavioral health experience preferred.
• Clear DBHDD and/or GCHEXs criminal background check.
• Intermediate reading and writing skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in caregiving (1 year preferred).
