About the position

EPIC - Every Person Influences Children is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator/Facilitator for their Family Opportunity Center in Lockport, NY. This role involves facilitating the Families In Transition (FIT) curriculum alongside the Systemic Treatment for Effective Parenting (STEP) curriculum for individuals who are court mandated or part of a residential treatment program. The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work with diverse populations, and a passion for family engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate EPIC's Families In Transition (FIT) curriculum and Systemic Treatment for Effective Parenting (STEP) curriculum.
  • Schedule and coordinate services with program staff.
  • Conduct outreach to special populations of parents.
  • Write reports and maintain accurate records and statistics.
  • Update grant budget lines and attain funder objectives and outcomes.
  • Network and attend meetings as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree and 1 year of relevant experience, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Competent knowledge and experience with Virtual Facilitation Platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, WebEx, Google Meets, Thinkific).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team structure and independently.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with Data Management Systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in a language spoken by the population served.
  • Experience with video conferencing software.
