About the position

The Program Coordinator for the Youth and Young Adult Group Residence and Supported Living programs at Open Sky Community Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the programs that support young adults transitioning to independent living. This role involves managing staff, facilitating connections for youth, and ensuring the programs meet their goals of fostering independence and stability.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of day-to-day operations including program staff and administrative functions.
• Facilitate safe, stable, and permanent connections for youth.
• Conduct family searches and engage families in permanency planning.
• Work with youth to identify and connect with parents, family members, or caring adults.
• Hire, supervise, mentor, and evaluate direct reports.
• Develop and manage the program budget.
• Facilitate weekly staff meetings.
• Prepare youth for safe, stable, and permanent relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a Human/Social Services related field or a minimum of four years experience working with the population.
• Minimum two years of program management and supervisory experience required.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
