About the position
The Program Coordinator for Human Trafficking Educator is responsible for coordinating and leading assigned programs aimed at addressing human trafficking. This role involves monitoring program plans, schedules, and budgets, as well as documenting and tracking program progress against established goals. The coordinator will also prepare reports and materials to support program leaders and promote the program to targeted audiences.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and/or lead assigned program(s).
- Monitor program plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Recommend alternative actions based on tracking outcomes.
- Coordinate, organize, and support program promotions to targeted audience.
- Document and track program progress compared to goals.
- Coordinate and prepare reports, materials, and presentations to support program leaders.
- Coordinate and/or lead program tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, nursing, case management, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 2 years experience working with victims of crime (domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault).
- Comfortable working within the City of Detroit and surrounding communities.
