Aims Community College is seeking a dedicated and organized individual for the position of Program Coordinator II in the Welding department. This role is pivotal in supporting the Welding program through various functions including enrollment management, student program navigation, community outreach, and marketing. The Program Coordinator will serve as a liaison with industry partners, ensuring that the program meets the needs of both students and the community. The position requires a proactive approach to managing program marketing and related materials within defined budgetary constraints, as well as overseeing the enrollment process for prospective students. This includes providing guidance for incoming students, managing waitlists, and facilitating registration processes. In addition to enrollment management, the Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in student success management. This involves assisting current students with schedule setting, graduation applications, and navigating internal processes. The Coordinator will also act as a liaison for scholarships and will be the department contact for concurrent enrollment and career academy initiatives. Community outreach and marketing are essential components of this role, with responsibilities including organizing internal marketing events, participating in external recruiting efforts, and managing the department's social media accounts to promote student, faculty, and staff achievements.
