This Position is located in Nash County. Positions located in the Driver License Help Desk Unit within the Driver Services Branch of the Division of Motor Vehicles provide State Automated Driver License System application maintenance, application support and application guidance to driver license examiners and driver license field support staff utilizing ServiceNow. This Unit also provides driver license research data for the Driver Services Administrative staff and other sections within the Division of Motor Vehicles and completes client testing. Position instructs and guides driver license examiners through the application for all types of issuances as needed. Position provides driver license examiners technical knowledge of office equipment housed at each driver license site. Position directs driver license examiners through trouble shooting steps to obtain operational status for this equipment as well as document service calls and perform follow-ups on office equipment. The position has daily contact with DL offices, IT personnel, and Law Enforcement Agencies via telephone, email and correspondence in order to authenticate identity and verify confidential and sensitive information. Position utilizes systems such as SADLS, SIMS, CSTIMS, NDR, and CDLIS. Position certifies the issuance process of the State-to-State (S2S) Verification Service through the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) for all North Carolina credential holders.
