In this role, the Program Coordinator will coordinate the application processing for all MBA programs, ensuring that all submissions are accurate and timely. This includes transitioning data from the application system into the Texas A&M University system and reviewing applications to determine the next steps in the admissions process. The coordinator will also compile statistics for various reports related to admissions and recruiting, as well as for MBA rankings and accreditation purposes. Furthermore, the position involves assisting in the strategic planning of recruiting and admissions efforts, understanding timelines, and evaluating prospective changes that may impact recruiting initiatives. The Program Coordinator will serve as a point of contact for prospective students, addressing their inquiries and providing guidance on successful application completion. This role also includes supervising and training student workers involved in application processing and event planning for on-campus recruitment events. The coordinator will gather feedback from students regarding their experiences with the application process and work to improve the overall admissions experience. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate application processing for Executive, Professional, Full-time, and other MBA programs.
  • Transition data from the application system into the Texas A&M University system.
  • Review and triage MBA applications to determine the admissions review process.
  • Compile statistics for Admissions and Recruiting reports, MBA rankings, and accreditation reports.
  • Assist in strategic planning of recruiting and admissions efforts based on department goals.
  • Coordinate processes for reporting and tracking graduate application history.
  • Serve as the point of contact for Business CAS, addressing system updates and suggestions for improvement.
  • Assist with event planning for on-campus recruitment events.
  • Coordinate the Graduate Programs Monthly Admissions meeting, including creating agendas and maintaining the calendar.
  • Supervise and train student workers in application processing and reporting.
  • Serve as a main contact for prospective students with questions about application completion.
  • Coordinate MBA 'Welcome packages' for admitted students.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of office administration or related experience.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
