As a Program Coordinator for Parking Operations at the University of Washington, you will play a crucial role in standardizing technical and customer services related to the university's parking software and other technological tools. This position operates under the general direction of the Parking Operations Manager and Assistant Manager, and is responsible for resolving technical and sales challenges while improving related procedures in collaboration with the UW Facilities Business Innovation & Technology (BIT) teams. You will communicate solutions effectively to both management and frontline staff, ensuring that all operations align with the university's parking and citation issuance rules and regulations. Your responsibilities will include providing information and interpretation of policies related to the Parking Operations program to students, staff, and the public. You will maintain cross-functional relationships within Transportation Services and the broader campus community, serving as a primary contact for customers and campus visitors. This role requires you to perform complex scheduling, project support, and coordination duties, while also creating and distributing information related to program activities. You will assist in the development and maintenance of a Standard Operational Procedure Manual and ensure the accuracy of records and statistical reports regarding program operations. Additionally, you will coordinate the use of internal and external web tools, assist with program training preparation, and may perform duties as a Lean facilitator to implement rapid process improvements. Your role will also involve supporting supervisory staff and ensuring compliance with workplace safety practices.
