About the position

Ambitions of Washington is an agency that provides support services to people with developmental disabilities in their own homes through the Supported Living Program. We are currently seeking a Program Coordinator for our Lakewood office. This entry-level management position is crucial for the implementation of instruction and support services, ensuring compliance with Washington State laws and regulations, as well as adherence to the policies and procedures set forth by the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) and Ambitions of Washington. The Program Coordinator will be directly responsible for coordinating and scheduling client services, which includes staff training and scheduling. This role also involves maintaining and updating client and employee records, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. A significant aspect of this position is providing daily onsite supervision of client support services, ensuring that the needs of our clients are met effectively and compassionately. The Program Coordinator will report to the Program Manager and may be required to act in the absence of the Program Manager, taking on additional responsibilities as needed. To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a minimum of one year of experience in a Supported Living program. This experience is essential for understanding the unique challenges and requirements of supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Additionally, candidates must have a valid Washington state driver's license, a vehicle for daily work use (with mileage reimbursement provided), proof of auto insurance, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a criminal background check. The starting pay for this position is $23.00 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $24.25 per hour after four years of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule client services in compliance with state regulations.
  • Provide daily onsite supervision of client support services.
  • Train and schedule staff to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Maintain and update client and employee records accurately.
  • Act in the absence of the Program Manager when required.

Requirements
