About the position
The position serves as a key member of a new team dedicated to implementing a strategic roadmap focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and well-being (DEIBW) for D-HH. The role involves aligning and supporting key initiatives of the Office of Employee Wellbeing with the DEIB strategy, while coordinating administrative and communication functions, managing data systems, and overseeing project management.
Responsibilities
- Helps to coordinate and arrange key programmatic events and activities.
- Engages team members and other stakeholders, establishing trusting, collaborative relationships for effective project implementation.
- Maintains and manages data files to retain and monitor key programmatic data, statistics, and project plans.
- Serves as a resource person to direct inquiries, share information, and assess significant situations affecting key programs.
- Creates and/or edits announcement/event listing information for programs and special events.
- Ensures timely and accurate dissemination of information.
- Prepares and assists with the preparation and dissemination of communications.
- Performs other roles consistent with personal strengths and interests.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- At least two years of administrative experience, preferably in medical care and program settings.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and independently, taking initiative and setting priorities.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer software, including MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency with databases, fitness trackers, and phone apps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
