About the position

The Program Coordinator at Tarzana Treatment Center will oversee the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), working within a multidisciplinary team to provide counseling and support to patients. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with regulations while implementing the treatment philosophy of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff and manage day-to-day operations of the program.
• Oversee patient activities and staff responsibilities related to patient functions.
• Implement the treatment philosophy of Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc.
• Conduct regular chart audits and maintain documentation in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Participate in the development and submission of various reporting requirements.
• Expand network of referral resources through outreach activities.
• Attend in-service training and educational workshops.
• Communicate effectively with staff and supervisors regarding patient and staff behavior.
• Conduct self in a professional manner and serve as a role model for staff and patients.
• Participate in performance evaluations of interns and other staff as required.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medications for addiction treatment (MAT) and/or experience in SUD treatment settings.
• Counselor registration or certification if providing SUD services.
