The Program Coordinator at Soccer Without Borders (SWB) Colorado plays a vital role in delivering impactful soccer programming for newcomer youth in East Denver. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about using soccer as a tool for social change and who are committed to fostering an inclusive environment for youth from refugee, asylee, and immigrant backgrounds. The Program Coordinator will co-lead various programs, including TEAM programs for middle and high school students, summer camps, and youth leadership training. The focus will be on creating specialized programming for male-identifying participants, ensuring that all activities are tailored to meet the unique needs of the youth served. The role involves direct service, where the Program Coordinator will envision and deliver high-quality soccer programming that integrates English language development and supports the holistic growth of participants. Building relationships with youth and their families is crucial, as is facilitating trauma-informed practices and off-the-field activities that promote social-emotional learning. The Program Coordinator will also engage in program planning and partnership management, working closely with school and community partners to ensure successful program implementation.
