About the position

The Program Coordinator position at ResCare Community Living is designed for individuals who excel in multitasking and possess strong administrative skills. This role is pivotal in supporting the business operations across multiple locations, ensuring that administrative and clerical functions are executed efficiently. The successful candidate will be energetic and professional, thriving in a large office environment while providing essential support to the Pharmacy Director and management staff. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering electronic records requests from clients, which is crucial for maintaining accurate and timely information flow. You will also provide a variety of administrative and clerical support, including entering information into databases, typing memos, reports, and correspondence, and managing mail distribution. Additionally, you will be tasked with keeping the kitchen stocked and organized, which involves reordering supplies and coordinating with the purchasing department. This position may also include other duties as assigned, making adaptability and a proactive approach essential traits for success.

Responsibilities

  • Be energetic and professional in a large office environment.
  • Help gather electronic records requests received from clients.
  • Serve as primary administrative support to Pharmacy Director and management staff.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support in a variety of areas.
  • Enter information into database as needed.
  • Type memos, reports, correspondence, newsletters and any other communication as directed.
  • Separate and distribute mail to appropriate personnel.
  • Scan all accounts payable into the system.
  • Keep kitchen stocked and cleaned up, reorder kitchen items from approved list and submit to purchasing department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Previous experience working in an office environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and phone skills with the ability to adapt within a diverse customer base.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily.
  • Proficient in computer and typing skills with the ability to multitask using different programs simultaneously.
  • Excel knowledge is a plus.
