About the position

The Program Coordinator at HOPICS is responsible for providing leadership and support to various programs under the direction of the ICMS Program Manager. This role involves facilitating training, onboarding, and staff wellness initiatives, as well as ensuring compliance with documentation and auditing processes. The Program Coordinator will also engage in community outreach and maintain partnerships to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and support for ICMS programs.
  • Facilitate training and onboarding for staff.
  • Support staff wellness initiatives and field-based de-escalation.
  • Conduct internal file auditing and implement new documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate and maintain calendars for supervision meetings.
  • Assist in developing and implementing client life-skills classes.
  • Prepare reports in accordance with funding requirements.
  • Travel between HOPICS program locations to support ICMS programs.
  • Attend and record all relevant meetings and training sessions.
  • Create complex Excel spreadsheets with macros.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and three years of experience in the social service field, or a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or social science with two years of experience.
  • Ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Current proof of auto insurance.
  • TB test required within specified time frames.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HMIS and other database programs.
  • Knowledge of community-based treatment providers.
