The Volunteer Program Coordinator will assist in implementing volunteer program strategies under the supervision of the Volunteer Director. This role involves communication with Habitat Ventura staff to determine volunteer needs and outreach to individuals and groups to recruit volunteers for various Habitat Ventura County needs. The coordinator will respond to inquiries, schedule volunteers, update and promote volunteer activities, and ensure that all necessary documentation is managed effectively. Additionally, the coordinator will provide support and supervision to volunteers during their shifts and function as the site host when needed. The position also includes coordination and administration tasks within the Development & Communications Department, assisting with event production and marketing efforts.
