About the position

The Program Coordinator at Special Service for Groups, Inc. (HOPICS) is responsible for providing leadership and support to various ICMS programs. This role involves facilitating training, onboarding, and staff wellness initiatives, as well as ensuring compliance with documentation and auditing processes. The Program Coordinator will work collaboratively with management and staff to enhance service delivery and program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support for ICMS programs.
• Facilitate training and onboarding for staff.
• Support staff wellness initiatives.
• Conduct internal file auditing and implement new documentation requirements.
• Coordinate and maintain calendars for supervision meetings.
• Assist in developing and implementing client life-skills classes.
• Prepare reports in accordance with funding requirements.
• Travel between HOPICS program locations to support ICMS programs.
• Attend and record all relevant meetings and training sessions.
• Create complex Excel spreadsheets with macros.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and three years of experience in the social service field, or a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or social science with two years of experience in the social service field.
• Ability to work with clients from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Current proof of auto insurance required.
• TB test required within specified time frames.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of various community-based treatment providers.
• Experience with HMIS and other database programs.
