About the position

Compudopt is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to join its Chicago team. This role is essential for coordinating various educational programs aimed at providing technology access and education to under-resourced youth. The Program Coordinator will manage program registrations, deliver technology education curriculum, and support overall departmental operations. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in program logistics, implementation, and training delivery within a nonprofit environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and provides delivery of Train-the-Trainer training on various educational programs.
  • Creates and manages program registration forms for service areas.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies for all education programs and communicates with the Program Director for orders.
  • Collects classroom information including attendance and metrics reports for program improvement.
  • Serves as a Technology Trainer as needed to fill scheduling gaps.
  • Provides feedback and suggestions on curriculum and program revisions.
  • Coordinates with program host sites to ensure a safe and healthy training environment.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing Compudopt standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited college or university.
  • Two years of professional, relevant work experience in teaching/training.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to high standards.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • High-level relationship building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to monitor and assess program performance.
  • Problem solver and solution-oriented.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn additional programs quickly.
