About the position
The Program Coordinator at Shabby Fabrics is responsible for providing exceptional customer care through various communication channels, including phone, email, and social media. This role also involves assisting the operations and order fulfillment teams during slower call times, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and supporting the company's growth in the quilting industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide the highest level of customer care through a genuine and helpful connection with our customers.
- Create, implement, ship and follow up on monthly programs.
- Promptly answer phone calls with a friendly voice.
- Process phone orders and suggest additional products based on the customers' needs.
- Use active listening and effective communication to meet customer needs, answer questions and resolve any concerns or complaints.
- Assist operations and order fulfillment teams during times of slower call volume.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent arithmetic and computation skills, especially pertaining to measurements (i.e. yards, inches).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter/motivated with minimal supervision.
- Ability to quickly learn about new products and how to appropriately suggest them to customers.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
