About the position

The Program Data Assistant at ChildNet Youth and Family Services plays a crucial role in supporting the Behavioral Health Services program by managing data systems and providing training to staff. This position involves data collection, tracking, and reporting to ensure compliance and effective program implementation for at-risk children and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and training to ChildNet staff on data systems.
  • Communicate with Billing, Intake, Quality Assurance, and staff from other departments to address data needs and processes.
  • Enter program, survey, and outcome data as needed.
  • Track and monitor compliance with data and implementation projects.
  • Assist with tracking, collection, and implementation of ChildNet surveys.
  • Identify data issues and assist with data cleaning and training projects.
  • Participate in special data projects, as needed or requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in the behavioral sciences or public health field, AND one (1) year of experience with data collection and data entry.
  • In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to candidates who possess at least two (2) years of relevant working experience in data collection or data systems.
  • Strong organization and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both within a team and independently.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge/skills with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Prior experience using databases is preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience working within the mental health field is desirable.
