About the position

The Program Development Analyst at TechnoServe plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's mission to create sustainable pathways out of poverty. This position is part of the Program Development Headquarters' Team (PD-HQ), which provides guidance in identifying, designing, and developing new business initiatives. The Analyst will contribute to generating a pipeline of opportunities for economic development projects, enhancing analytical capabilities, and ensuring effective proposal development.

Responsibilities

  • Supports all aspects of proposal development, including coordinating efforts with proposal team members, editing and formatting proposals, and conducting secondary research.
  • Develops and standardizes impact models to estimate project results by collaborating with measurement teams and technical leads.
  • Prepares analyses and reports on new business performance, return on investment, and pipeline status for senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Ensures quality and accessibility of pipeline data, monitoring opportunities and pipeline status with regional and HQ program development managers.
  • Coordinates donor outreach efforts using TechnoServe's Salesforce CRM and shares funder learnings across the organization.
  • Conducts desk and field research for competitive landscape assessments and opportunity identification.
  • Supports the PD team's donor engagement strategy through pipeline reporting, data analysis, and funding landscape research.
  • Contributes to improving PD operations through knowledge management and updating program development resources.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in economics, business, international relations, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of work experience; or a Master's Degree plus one year of experience.
  • Quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multicultural, geographically distributed teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to speak Spanish, French, or Portuguese.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Experience with data visualization applications, such as Google Looker Studio.
