About the position

The Clinical Program Director at Healogics is responsible for the management and strategic growth of the Wound Care Program and other related programs. This role involves overseeing the operations of the Wound Care Center, managing staff, financial oversight, quality improvement, community education, and maintaining collaborative relationships with hospital partners. The position aims to enhance patient outcomes and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while providing leadership and direction to clinical staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of outpatient clinics and wound care programs.
  • Continuously assess and improve clinic processes and procedures.
  • Ensure availability of resources, supplies, and equipment for the center.
  • Facilitate effective communication throughout the program.
  • Direct the work of clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Manage direct reports in collaboration with HR departments.
  • Oversee financial management and revenue cycle coordination.
  • Stay updated on reimbursement changes and educate staff accordingly.
  • Review financial reports and implement best practices for fiscal responsibility.
  • Coordinate community education and marketing functions to increase patient referrals.
  • Develop relationships with key referral sources and maintain communication with hospital leadership.
  • Implement and manage a Performance Improvement Program for the Wound Care Center.
  • Monitor patient and physician satisfaction and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate clinical activities and direct clinical staff in patient care assessment and planning.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospital clients and program providers.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred, or an Associate's degree with relevant experience.
  • 1 year of marketing/community education experience in healthcare or clinical operations, or 4 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent customer service and follow-up skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Leadership and teaching skills.
