The Future TAVR Core Team Leader (CTL) is a member of the Structural Heart TAVR & Congenital (T&C) R&D leadership team. This leader is responsible for all phases of new product development from early definition through development, manufacturing, and global commercialization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management and 7+ years of managerial experience, or an advanced degree with minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of managerial experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) new product development as core team member or core team leader.
  • R&D, quality, or operations experience with transcatheter technologies.
  • Familiarity with key opinion leaders in the interventional cardiology community.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for overall program execution.
  • Responsible to drive cross-functional core team and work directly with functional leaders, regional leaders, and extended teams to ensure clear communication of program objectives, deliverables, and timing of key milestones.
  • Proactively resolves cross-functional conflict.
  • Manages daily execution of project/programs including critical path tasks, budgets, resources, and risk.
  • Effective use of project schedules and work breakdown to manage project critical path activities.
  • Understands applicable product standards and procedures and navigates the matrix to provide the required regulatory deliverables.
  • Maintains effective communication with the business leadership team on overall program strategy and approach.
  • Delivers results with uncompromising quality, integrity, and ethics.
  • Regular communication with T&C R&D leadership team and Structural Heart leadership team through regular program updates and product review committee discussions.
  • Represent the program in frequent interactions with Key Opinion Leaders in the field, during scientific congresses and clinical investigator meetings.
  • Drives financials for program including representation of program financial assumptions at Portfolio Strategy Board, Product Review Committee, Annual Operating Plan, and all financial forecasting.
  • Travel approximately 25%.
