As the Program Director I for the MCW Flourishing in Health Professions Education Initiative, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a complex, grant-funded program that aims to integrate the principles of character, caring, practical wisdom, and flourishing into health professions education across the Medical College of Wisconsin's three campuses. This initiative is grounded in the Kern National Network (KNN) Framework for Flourishing, and your leadership will be essential in guiding the program's strategic direction, management, and financial oversight. You will be responsible for providing direction to Program Managers and Coordinators, ensuring that the program's goals are met while maintaining compliance with regulatory and institutional policies. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the KNN Program Office, serving as a member of its leadership team, and acting as an advisor on the implementation of the KNN Framework at MCW. Additionally, you will monitor quality assurance and compliance related to the initiative's objectives and outcomes, oversee the recruitment and engagement of program participants, and initiate program development through literature searches and outreach to potential funding sources. You will also be tasked with maintaining program policies and procedures, developing educational and marketing materials, and ensuring that program data and progress are effectively communicated to stakeholders, particularly initiative funders. Your responsibilities will extend to organizing internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events, as well as managing the program budget and supervising initiative staff.
