About The Position

The Program Director III is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a specific program within a designated geographic region under the administrative direction of the Regional Director. This role involves ensuring compliance with productivity standards, developing and implementing service plans, providing crisis intervention, and representing the program at community meetings. The director also oversees budget development and compliance with contractual agreements, ensuring quality management standards are met.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Full licensure as a LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
  • Four years of varied experience as a provider of mental health services.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory or management experience.
  • Registration with BBS or CA Board of Psychology.
  • California driver's license and current vehicle insurance/registration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of an assigned program within a specific geographic region.
  • Ensure staff compliance with productivity standards to maintain fiscal viability of the program.
  • Assess, develop, and implement plans to meet programming and service provision needs.
  • Provide on-the-spot support to members consistent with the program's philosophy.
  • Represent the program at community meetings as assigned.
  • Liaise with County personnel regarding program design, audits, and regulatory issues.
  • Conduct public relations activities in coordination with administration.
  • Work with program staff and members to develop planning and evaluation strategies.
  • Provide prompt intervention during crises and notify necessary persons and agencies for resolution.
  • Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of staff and members.
  • Monitor safety status of the facility and represent or assign a representative to the safety committee.
  • Facilitate all-staff meetings.
  • Develop budgets in conjunction with the Fiscal Department and monitor them monthly and annually.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual agreements with County providers, including outcomes.
  • Meet quality management standards for documentation, billing, and service provision.
  • Provide necessary reports to the County and Administration in a timely manner.
