About the position

The Program Director at Texas American Medical Consultants, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the operations of a substance abuse treatment facility. This role involves providing clinical supervision to counselors, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintaining the fiscal stability of the clinic. The director will also be involved in patient orientation, quality assurance activities, and the overall management of treatment programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to counselors and ensure compliance with state and federal standards.
  • Conduct and monitor quality assurance activities to ensure program compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Conduct staff meetings and orient new patients to the program's rules and rights.
  • Monitor intakes, discharge planning, initial needs assessments, and treatment plans within required time guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for billing purposes and maintain overall fiscal stability of the clinic.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration preferred, or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • 5 years of working experience in the substance abuse field with at least 2 years certified as CAC.
  • At least 2 years' experience in MAT/OTP/NTP management preferred.
  • Substance Abuse Counseling Certification is required.
