The Program Distribution and Acquisitions Manager is a pivotal role within PBS North Carolina, responsible for the creation and management of program assets across various distribution channels. This includes the acquisition of content for The North Carolina Channel and related video-on-demand services. The manager will oversee the intake and distribution of program deliverables to appropriate staff across multiple departments and distribution points, ensuring that all content is effectively managed and delivered. In collaboration with the acquisitions team, the manager will work to acquire independently produced content tailored for North Carolina audiences. This role also involves close cooperation with the Programming Operations team to maintain the integrity of broadcast services, which includes the management and delivery of broadcast assets as well as the creation and maintenance of broadcast logs. The manager will be responsible for generating various reports on an annual, monthly, and weekly basis to track progress and performance within the organization and department. This position may offer a hybrid work arrangement, adhering to the System Office policy, and requires employees to reside within a two-hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station in North Carolina.
