BCCYMCA is excited to announce a job opportunity for a Program Enrollment & Marketing Coordinator! This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about utilizing their excellent organization and communication skills to support a youth-serving organization in a mission-driven work environment. The Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA, located on nearly 1500 forested acres in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts, is an independent YMCA camp that operates programs serving hundreds of campers. With over a century of tradition, our industry-leading programs include the Chimney Corners Camp for girls, Camp Becket for boys, the Travel & Service Programs (domestic and international), and Becket Day Camp. As the Program Enrollment & Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the registration of campers and families for all Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA programs. This position also involves various administrative duties, requiring a friendly, efficient, respectful, helpful, and business-like attitude. The responsibilities will vary throughout the year, and you will serve as the primary liaison between families and our programs, developing a deep knowledge of our offerings to effectively implement marketing and sales efforts. You will support programs by assisting with camp communications, financial management, human resources, store sales, supply procurement, and other related responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to the Chief Program Officer and Camp Directors, collaborate on pre-camp and summer logistics, and assist with training and supervision of summer office and store staff as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between families and our programs.
  • Develop knowledge of programs and assist in implementing marketing and sales efforts.
  • Support programs by assisting with camp communications, financial management, human resources, store sales, and supply procurement.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Chief Program Officer and Camp Directors.
  • Collaborate on pre-camp and summer logistics, including setting up summer offices.
  • Provide training and supervision of summer office and store staff as needed.
  • Prepare and run reports from the registration database as requested.
  • Welcome and assist visitors and vendors at the Administration Building.
  • Cover general office duties such as mail and package sorting, supply ordering, and other responsibilities as they arise.
  • Support HR and hiring managers with onboarding for seasonal staff.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant prior experience, customer service roles a plus.
  • Excellent organization skills with a keen focus on details.
  • Demonstrated competence in using Google Suite, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Excellent customer service including communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a growth mindset and be flexible to changes in priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and independent judgment.
  • Desire to be an active and collaborative team member of a learning organization.
  • Current driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience with registration and customer relation management systems preferred.
  • Experience in a youth-serving organization or camp setting.
