About the position

The Program Execution Group Manager (Principal/SME) at COLSA is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various program management activities, ensuring continuity and standardization across reports, and supporting senior program management with analytical methods and tools. This role involves significant collaboration with multiple departments and requires extensive experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, assist, coordinate, draft and follow-up with reports in the Program Management Responsibility Transfer (PMRT).
  • Assist with the planning and drafting of the Monthly Acquisition Report (MAR).
  • Coordinate briefings, papers, and inputs about systems to ensure continuity and standardization across reports.
  • Consolidate information for generating charts and facilitating staff meetings for senior program management.
  • Maintain and execute the self-inspection checklist program.
  • Manage and track internal and external suspense task requirements using appropriate tracking tools.
  • Plan and track award review boards, award and decoration packages, and personnel performance reports.
  • Assist with training and preparation of staff summary sheets and packages.
  • Consolidate package information for staffing to various organizations including AFLCMC/LP, AFLCMC, AFMC, the AF, and DoD.
  • Assist with travel approval worksheets, including drafting estimates and justifications for travel.
  • Consolidate information from functional areas and Program Managers to draft reports and briefs as required.
  • Employ analytical methods to collect, analyze, and evaluate information for LP division managers.
  • Coordinate top issues, activity reports, and briefings for the Propulsion Directorate staff meetings.
  • Track, coordinate, and prepare reports and presentations for leadership in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree with 11+ years of experience in a related field, including 12 years in the DoD; OR a Master's degree with at least 20 years of experience, including 12 years in the DoD; OR a Bachelor's degree with 25 years of experience, including 15 years in the DoD; OR a high school diploma with 30 years of directly related experience, including 20 years in the DoD.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to successfully undergo a background investigation for a Public Trust (Tier 1 investigation).
  • Eligibility for access to classified information.
