About the position

This position at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) offers a unique opportunity to join the Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) team supporting the Precision Navigation program. The role is designed for a program finance lead with a focus on Earned Value Management (EVM) in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing EVM activities, ensuring compliance with EVM guidelines, and supporting both internal and external audit requirements. This position allows for a hybrid telework schedule, enabling the employee to work part-time at a Lockheed Martin-designated office and part-time remotely. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while collaborating with various teams. Key responsibilities include executing EVM activities such as program baselines, data integration using Cobra, and preparing and delivering Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents. The candidate will also be expected to provide financial leadership and guidance to program leads, promoting a cost-conscious culture and ensuring focus on program performance through effective communication of financial metrics. In addition to EVM activities, the candidate will monitor program spending, communicate funding needs based on Estimate at Completion (EAC) analyses, and support financial deliverables for Portfolio and Market Segment analysis. Responsibilities

  • Execute EVM activities including Program baselines, data integration (Cobra), EAC/ETC analysis, CDRL preparation and delivery
  • Ensure compliance with EVM guidelines while supporting internal and external audit requirements
  • Utilize Earned Value tools and communicate financial metrics to ensure focus on program performance
  • Work closely with Program Planning team to effectively integrate schedule inputs to Cobra
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to Program leads and promote Earned Value compliance and a cost-conscious culture
  • Collaborate with Program Leads to prepare monthly and annual bottoms-up EAC's
  • Monitor program spend and communicate funding needs based on EAC's
  • Support FP&A Analysis in support of Portfolio / Market Segment financial deliverables including Month End Close, Outlook, CSRs, and LRP
  • Support Cost estimates for ECPs and New Business proposals

Requirements

  • Team player with strong communication skills and positive attitude
  • Ability to provide sound, data-driven analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • EVM experience and appropriate application of Program Performance Management (PPM) processes
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • US Citizenship
