About the position

Amentum is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to provide financial budget analysis support to the government customer. This role involves developing, tracking, and reporting on program/project financial metrics and status, ensuring effective management of funding and expenditures.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support including developing, tracking, and reporting of program/project monthly financial metrics and status.
• Make determinations on estimated dates for full expenditure of current funding for all tasking performed.
• Prepare briefings of budgets and financial status for team leadership.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of work-related experience demonstrating a technical understanding and ability to prepare complex and detailed technical documents and reports.
• Three (3) years of specialized experience in financial planning, budgeting, and execution of project funds for allocation purposes.
• Experience in coordination of task planning, schedule development, and task execution for DoD and Navy programs and projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software applications and best business practices, with a high degree of skill in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in processing complex technical reports that include tables, graphs, charts, or multiple columns.

Nice-to-haves

• Integrated management schedule (IMS) development and tracking for planning and budgeting.
• Experience in Navy ERP and IBPES.
