About the position

As a CACI-SOAS Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) by developing fiscal plans, managing budgetary processes, and driving the development of emerging capabilities. This position requires a deep understanding of financial management, budgeting, and the intricacies of the Department of Defense (DoD) and SOF environments. You will be responsible for executing budget plans that support capability development and operational activities, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and analyzing budget obligations, expenditures, and reimbursements, as well as preparing financial reports to identify discrepancies in budget execution. You will perform disbursing operations for SOF, review and process financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance, and reconcile accounts while identifying corrective actions. Additionally, auditing financial documents for completeness and accuracy will be a key part of your role, ensuring that all financial activities adhere to established standards and regulations. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with in-depth knowledge of budget formulation, execution, and financial management principles. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting is essential, as is an understanding of DoD, USSOCOM, and GCC policies and procedures. You will need to demonstrate the ability to analyze data and develop actionable recommendations, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy being paramount. An active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Secret Compartmentalized Information (SCI) eligibility is required, along with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph. This position demands a strong understanding of financial management principles and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities
